Shuffle Project Open Call

4bid is open for applications. Shuffle project provides a ground to develop  ideas from various fields (Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Literature, Music, Photography, Film or Hybrid) during a week long project in the Gallery c/o the OT301. Each participant is invited to run one day of the week’s workshop and take part in the sessions hosted by each artist during the week.

4bid invite you to apply by the 31st of May.
You can apply
with a proposal stating: what is on your mind; why you would like to share it with the group; how you envision utilizing the group dynamic to explore and amplify your idea.
Tell us your name; artist website (if you have one); a short biography; the concept/theme you would like to propose to the group and a breakdown of the schedule (how many hours, and preferred day of the week). Let us know if you have any material/equipment requirements in your proposal. We will try to source them for the workshops when possible.
Or send an email with your project to / post it to 4bid gallery c/o Overtoom 301, 1054 HW Amsterdam, NL.

DATES: June 20th 2016 – 26th, daily attendance, schedule timetable negotiable within the group.

You can propose a problem, a question or a thought that you would like to look at from different perspectives. 4bid gives you the space to experiment and use the group dynamic, develop collaborations, offers to assist you with the delivery of the workshop (or other format of sharing) helping to lead each session. During the week the timing and length of each session can be dictated by the leader of that day. We encourage a discussion and feedback sessions at end of each workshop. A catalog will be produced at the end of each Shuffle, documenting the individual sessions and the outcomes of the week.
