4bidday is back!
The 4th of each month is our 4bidday, an experimental day for exhibitions and discussions. We invite you to participate with your work, to watch, to listen and talk.
FOR ONE DAY The gallery becomes a space in which you present a research, a work and the process of creation or a question.
It becomes a home for discussions and a place for sharing thoughts, allowing Viewer and Viewed to find meeting points.The site functions as a means to help developing creative processes. By allowing an encounter between audience and the work we hope to facilitate a conversation between the two within a space where “it is possible to go wrong”.
4bidday is a chance for the visitor to discover contemporary art in a non-formal environment, with no prejudices, giving both sides (Viewer and Viewed) the chance to discuss face to face and open up sights.
Viewer will meet the artist, get to know about his work, and engage with others.
Viewed will benefit from feedback and have a possibility compare their views.

Ben Brown: Ben Brown has played with musicians such as Gordon Grdina, Francois Houle, Tony Wilson, Veda Hille, Michael Bates and popular acts K-OS, Jill Barber and Carly Rae Jepsen. Recent highlights include a Juno award for Best Instrumental Album of 2013 and a Vancouver Galaxie Rising Star Award with his group the Pugs & Crows. He is also the recipient of Montreal’s TD Grand Jazz Award Nomination and has shared stages with internationally acclaimed artists Bill Frisell, Chad Vangaalen and Chin Injeti. Brown regularly collaborates with Dancers and has worked with some of Canada’s finest Contemporary and Ballet Dancers including Justine Chambers, Lee Su-Feh, Kenny Pearl and Edmond Kilpatrick. He is the founder of Music And Movement Mondays (MAMM), a weekly collaborative series between live musicians and dancers. Lisa Simpson: Lisa Simpson is a sewing agent. She lives in Curitiba, Brazil and is currently enrolled in the Low Residency Masters Program at Emily Carr University. She has been playing the Singer, a sewing machine, since 2003. Her research focuses on her exhibitions in progress, where she emphasizes the creative process, the performativity of the act of sewing, and audience participation as the source of inspiration.http://www.musicalsewing.blogspot.ca/
Irina Baldini: Born in Florence IT, Finnish-Italian dance and movement artist, living and working across Europe with current base in Amsterdam, Irina works independently as well as collaboratively with artists of various mediums. After earning a 1st Class BA(Hons) in Dance Theatre from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London, she has worked as a performer at various art galleries such as the Hayward Gallery, Institute of Contemporary Art, White Cube in London and shown work at the Southbank Centre UK, Centro Fondazione Arti Visive la Pescheria, Hangart IT, The Secret Theatre NY, Oostblok, OT301, Het Huis, De Slang and C&H Art Space NL, ECCO Cadiz ES, deepening her interests though artist residencies across different countries including UK, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Spain, US and the Netherlands. She is a founder of 4bid group, currently in charge of the Public Visual Art Space in the OT301 Cultural Centre in Amsterdam and Highs & Lows, evening of performance curated in the OT301 Amsterdam. http://www.irinaosterberg.com/
